An exceptional 18th Century English elm country Chippendale occasional chair.

The unusual well shaped top rail above a fret carved vase shaped centre splat, with an upholstered drop in seat housed in moulded seat rails, resting on square inner chamfered legs joined by rectangular stretchers.  Good overall colour and patination.
