A rare set of six 18th Century English oak country Chippendale dining chairs.

The shaped top rail above a pierced interlaced vase splat with shaped outswept arms having an unusual carved scrolled detail flowing into the shaped arm supports, and an upholstered drop in seat on square chamfered legs, joined by stretchers.

Note: one carver replaced early 20th Century
